Club Fees

The ASC charges an annual membership fee. As a member, you can train with us as often as you like and use the club's equipment. Membership fes contribute towards venue hire, purchasing and maintaining of equipment, coaches' fees and other costs. Club Fees are charged per financial year (July - June) but it is also possible to have half-year memberships

Full year: $350 (senior) / $190 (junior/full-time student/novice)

Half year: $230 (senior) / $130 (junior/full-time student/novice)

The ASC charges casual fees of $10 per visit to non-members (must be registered/licensed with Fencing SA)

A dicsount is offered to graduates of the beginner course, making the membership fees $90 for a whole year or $30 for a half year.

All fencers must be registered or licensed with Fencing SA. This is charged per calendar year.

Registration: $20

License: $95 (senior) / $80 (junior)

If you wish to compete in Intermediate, Open, Veteran, Under 15, Under 17 or Under 20 state competitions, or any national competition, you must be licensed.

Payment

ASC accepts payment of all club fees in the following ways:

- cash

- cheque (made out to Adelaide Swords Club Inc)

- direct online transfer

Please note that state competition entry, individual lessons with your coach or weekly payments for a Saturday class need to be done in person, not online.

When making an online payment, please adhere to the following guidelines to ensure we can track your payment.

Under name, put your initial and last name (eg. J Smith). If making the payment on behalf of a child, put their name afterwards (eg. J Smith (Bobby) ).
Under message/description/reference, put what you are paying for and the year. If you need to pay for more than one thing, please make more than one transaction.

National comp entry: AFF (followed by which number AFF it is, followed by which events you are doing). eg. AFF 2 FE would be foil and epee.

For all of the above payments you will also need to fill in a form at the club.

If paying for Saturday morning classes, we do not accept weekly payments, only whole-term ones. Please include the school term in the reference (T1 T2 T3 T4).

The beginner course fee includes the FSA registration, so you only need to make one transaction. Please include the school term in the reference (T1 T2 T3 T4).

Two-hour adult try session: T2 TRY ($50)
Beginner course (adult or child): T2 BEG (Adult: $100. Child: $125)

If you need to pay the club money for any other reason, please discuss it with the Treasurer beforehand.
