Adelaide Swords Club (ASC) is one of several fencing clubs in South Australia. We run three training sessions a week, and are based at the Hungarian Club. The club is run by a committee, currently composed of: Allan Pring, Ursula Menz, Stuart Marshall, Erica Williamson, Todd Miller, Matteo Barcheisi, Seri Wilson, Alex Lovell, Bruce Oerman and Michael Dzodzos. We are governed directly by FencingSA (FSA), which is primarily responsible for running local tournaments. They are based up at Scotch College. Other states each have their own State Fencing Association. FSA reports to the Australian Fencing Federation (AFF), which runs national tournaments throughout the year, and is also responsible for national development of the sport. Running the whole show is the International Fencing Federation (FIE - Federation Internationale d'Escrime). There is also a Commonwealth Fencing Federation .
