ASC members are making their mark on the national fencing stage!
At the recent Robyn Chaplin Memorial national tournament, Matteo Barcheisi came 3rd in the Open Men's Epee.
At the Under 15 and Under 17 National Championships, Michael Dzodzos came 2nd (by one point!) in the cadet foil and 9th in the cadet epee. Jackson Michael came 12th in the cadet foil. Many of our younger members also went to this competition, representing SA for the first time, and we applaud their courage and effort.
Shayne Pay and Iain Davidson have been selected as members of the Australian Team for the Commonwealth Veteran Fencing Championships.

ASC will be running the canteen at the Robyn Chaplin national tournament on the June long weekend, and we are relying on donations of food from club members to help make it a success. Hot food is always a success, in the past we have made toasted sandwiches, baked potatoes with fillings, chilli con carne, curry and rice, as well as selling cakes, muffins, sports drinks and lollies (important for that pre-fence sugar hit!). If you would like to make a donation, please see a committee member at the club, or send us an email.
