Classes

We currently have a few more people in the classes than enrolments so if you have yet to enrol your child please do so they are covered by insurance, your child can continue to attend the classes, and we can mark the roll properly!

ASC Events (past and upcoming)

The ASC picnic

Last Saturday at Plan 4 on 29th November, was fun, much cricket occurred and it was great to meet family members and their dogswho don’t always come to the club. It was also very nice to get to know people better and talk about a range of things that weren’t just fencing related. Big shout out to Brad McKenna for his generous donation of things to BBQ, Ali Carpenter for another yummy and Michelle Lee for lovely gluten free brownies!

Festive Fencing at ASC and Kids party

The Pirates will be having their final class and foil and epee fencing competitions from 9am on Saturday 13th December followed by the bigger kids foil and epee competitions starting at 10am. There are medals to be won, encouragement awards to be awarded and a lolly bag and some snacks for all the kids.

ASC One Touch Epee

Wednesday 17th December - 18.30 - 20.30 - come and have a fun one touch epee comp with all age members and experience on the last club night for 2025. There’s a seriously good and tasty prize to be had for the winner as well as pizza for all. Turn up on the night and have a fence or relax watch the action and celebrate with the winners of the President’s Award and Spirit of the Club Award! 

Put your thinking caps on and decide who you would nominate for their contribution to the club this year! It could be a fencer – old or young, parent, coach or volunteer – who you think makes a positive and ongoing impact on the atmosphere at the club! Fill in the form online or scan the QR code on the clubs noticeboard to nominate someone.

Classes in 2026

A quick heads up that the fees for next year’s kids classes will be increasingly slightly to $120 per term. We have increased our coaches’ rates so they are now in line with the Sporting Organisations Award rates.

The club will close on 17th December 2025 and open back on the 19th January 2026
